I have yet to use this chair as I am a grandma awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild, but from what I can see, this high chair has everything a larger chair offers but in a lot less space! It is very sturdy and well put together and I am already recommending it to friends.

The chair is very practical at the time of placing the baby and do other things in your house, besides when you go to feed your baby. Excellent product.

I love this high chair. it's great not having a big bulky extra piece of furniture in our dinnette. the only issue that we have is when we received this item, the lettering is worn off of it like it had been used several times. i purchased this as a "new" item so i wasn't expecting this at all.

We purchased this high chair from Amazon.com as we purchased a lot of other things. We assume we will get a new thing, but what delivered is a broken box with a used high chair in it (you can see that somebody has done some not-so-good cleaning). And there is a devil face on the box.
Shame on Amazon this time. Don't send me used stuff or don't let me know you send me used stuff when I buy new stuff from you.

I don't have this, but may buy it for my sister. Judging from the picture, I really worry about how far forward the baby's weight is in the chair. The back of the baby seat isn't where the back of the chair is, so the baby's bottom isn't well-centered (perhaps a child could suddenly move and tip some chairs over). I'm very sensitive to this, because my (now 10yr old) daughter flipped her infant seat out of a captain's chair and upside down when we were at a restaurant. The seat was not strapped to the chair as this one would be (and thankfully she was strapped into her car seat). However, the force of a 6 month old baby flinging herself suddenly was much greater than I expected. The force she exerted while she was still so little could easily have toppled a medium to light dining chair.

If you buy this, which I may, please be sure to put it in HEAVY chairs. Make sure the baby's center of gravity is over the place the adult's backside is supposed to occupy. Children fling themselves around - to grab the banana Mama's holding, to get away from a washcloth etc. More dangerous still are the flings while a parent is on the other side of the room.

Full-sized high chairs are designed to be stable even when kids do this. Not all dining chairs are ok.

We did have a similar item ( a no-name brand we got at a discount store, Target?) which was very square in shape. It folded and centered the kid's bottom on the adult chair nicely. It was lousy for small babies however. We cleaned it in the shower (tray supposedly went in the dishwasher but as others have noted, that fills up the dishwasher - not worth it).

P.S. My now 10 yr old was upside down, facing the restaurant floor with the cross-shaped "foot" of the dining table less than an inch from her nose. She had NEVER made a move like that before -- perhaps it was the struggle to fight off sleep -- who knows.
